Many people think that the basic function of a room divider screen is to divide the available space in a room and to act as a space saver. But nowadays, different types of room dividers/screens are available in the market that make the room dividers not only utilitarian in nature but also as a decorative piece. Room dividers can be used indoors or outdoors, in homes, offices, churches etc. Room dividers have been around for centuries. Even ancient palaces have been decorated with tastefully painted wooden room dividers.
These divider screens are most commonly used in places where space is limited and privacy is needed. For example, foldable room dividers can be used in single room apartments so as to divide the room to increase privacy when needed. Similarly they can also be used in offices to provide separate work spaces for the employees. Most people would have seen these room dividers being used in churches and restaurants also.
